Ashley Stewart 20th Anniversary Campaign
Monday, October 31, 2011
I know I have been talking about this on Facebook and Tumblr, but I wanted to do a full post here. As many of you know a few weeks ago Ashely Stewart flew two other bloggers and myself to New York to witness their holiday photo shoot and style 3 looks each for their October 20th anniversary campaign. Last week we were on the front page of the Ashely Stewart website which can be seen above.
We also each have our tabs on the Ashely Stewart website. Although the pictures of my 3 looks are not up due to availability you can still check out the pieces I chose on my tab. When the pictures of my looks are up and the clothing is available I will post them here along with photos of myself in the outfits. We did interviews as well and I will post that when it's up to.
The most exciting part is our in store signs. We each have signs with the pieces from our looks in Ashley Stewarts stores across the country, so be sure to check them out!
Finally, we are back up on the Ashely Stewart home page for their Facebook campaign. I hope you guys like the turn out so far. :-)
Cookshop NYC
Sunday, October 30, 2011
When I was in New York last month before we boarded the plane my mom and I stopped for Lunch at Cookshop on a recommendation of a stylist at the Ashley Stewart photo shoot. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I certainly wasn't expecting the food to be as good as it was. I loved that Cookshop's menu changes daily depending on what's fresh and available. If you're in New York check out Cookshop, but for now ogle the food porn.
First, my mom and I shared the Fish Tacos as a starter.
Fish Tacos - Jalapeno-cabbage slaw, ranchero sauce, lime, crema, crumbled goat milk feta $15.
For her entrée my mom had the Montauk Bluefish
Montauk Bluefish - marinated tomatoes, arugula, Castelvetrano olive tapenade $19.
For my entree I had the most amazing burger ever.
Rosenkrans Grass-fed Burger - Applewood smoked bacon, white cheddar, pickled red onion, sesame seed roll, french fries & chipotle ketchup $17.
Watermelon mint lemonade $6.
I don't like cheesecake, but this was amazing!
Raspberry Cheesecake Panna Cotta - Cheesecake panna cotta, graham crumble, glazed local raspberries, basil sauce $8.

Today was Boom in the Trunk and it was amazing. I will post select photos here, but most will be housed at Boom in the Trunk website. Check back for all of that this weekend. At Boom in the Trunk we had lovely sponsors donate clothing for a photo presentation of fall looks that was shown at the event. The photos were shot by Josh Slater, styled by me, and modeled by Gigi Lira. I really hope you enjoy them. All of the items were sponsored unless otherwise noted and the pieces are currently available! Check them out!

My Version of Sweat Pants
Wednesday, October 19, 2011
All of my outfits lately (save what I wore to New York) have been impromptu outfits, but I think those are the best kind. Those kind of outfits show what I'm really wearing to school on the day to day basis. Yesterday I met up with one of my best friends to hang out. He is a photography student and happen to have his camera, so while we were waiting for the train we decided to take a few photos. Clearly I love leopard print and red together, but I still hate jeans. However, I can say I get their purpose now. I throw them on when I'm running late for school and can't think of anything else to wear. I always try my best to jazz them up and make them look more me. So, I guess you can say this is my version of sweat pants and a t - shirt.
Also Boom in the Trunk is so close. Check out the Facebook Event here!

I'm a Cartoon!
Tuesday, October 11, 2011
I just wanted to stop by really quickly to show off the lovely drawing Natalie of Definatalie did of me in a outfit I wore earlier this Spring. I love this drawing, but I must say it's kind of weird seeing myself as a cartoon. I am thinking of using this as apart of a new blog banner for Fat Shopaholic. Natalie is so talented, so check her out please!
