From the Sick and Shut In List

In case you missed me bitching and moaning on tumblr, instagram, and twitter I probably should tell you that on Friday, September 7th I broke my ankle in 3 places while walking down the center asile of the bus looking for a seat. After being taken to the emergency room by the ambulance and seeing the orthopedic surgeon I had surgery September 13th which was a scary, long process.  I was in my last semester of college and I have to drop my classes because my recovery requires me to be home a lot. I have to elevate my foot for 23 hours a day for 2 weeks, not put any pressure on my foot for 4 to 6 weeks and then have physical therapy. I have a walker, a wheelchair, and help from my grandmother and friends so it's not super bad. I've been reading books, watching new shows, and trying to stay cute so I don't get too sad about being in the house. Feel free to recommend books and tv shows for me to have a look at. If you haven't guessed I won't be able to take outfit pictures for a while. Maybe Wheel chair outfits of the day? See you in 4 to 6 weeks!
