Hello you lovely ladies how are you? Better then me I hope. If you follow me on twitter then you that I have been very under the weather. In fact this is a OOTD from Friday and I have been trying all day to gather enough energy to type this. Post will be slow until I'm off the sick and shut in list.
For this OOTD I didn't really go any where special, I was just running errands and walking around the house in this. Lately I have been totally into head pieces, hand bands, and giant bows. When I got the head band I'm wearing here the sales women said she liked it but would only wear in on a special occasion. I told her I would wear it any day of the week. I think the head band brings a nice costume element to this outfit without taking it to far. Black dresses are a classic piece so I think when you wear one its good to play with things like texture. I love the ruffles on this dress and the way they juxtaposed with the feathers on the head band. I added the pink heart bag for a pop of color. I love to where bangles, who doesn't own some? But, here I went for a chunky sliver bracelet. The shoes where a challenge for me. They are 4 inch booties and I had never been in something so tall before. I alternated between those and a pair of flats. At the store I could walk across the room in them but on the carpet at home I fell right over. I need to do more practice.
