Shopping in Manhattan

Sunday, April 11, 2010

Today's outfit of the day is from my shopping trip in manhattan. Want to see what I got? Well, here you go!

My first stop was Urban Outfitters and boy was it crowded; I have never seen that many people in a Urban Outfitters before in my whole life. I scored these Bed Stu Boots for $74.00 down from $125.00. I think they are a little bit more on the site.

I also got these sneakers for $9.99 down from $18.00.

Next we headed to a store called Strawberry. Strawberry is a bit of a hit and miss store. They have lots of junk in the plus range but, there are a few gems likes these.  I got these skirts for $14.95 and $9.99 respectfully.

Next we stopped in Forever 21 across from Union Park and I got these.

(They didn't have this on line)

After all the walking we did I saw a church with front steps and sat down because my feet were tired.

Soon after we took some outfit pictures.

All and all it was a good day! Here is a random picture of Manhattan.

Also on the 'A' train back to Brooklyn a man dressed similar to glam rock David Bowie told me I looked, "Really really good" That made me super happy!

I will never forget the excitement of my very first trip to New York! So glad you had a good time, and that you snapped up some awesome finds to bring back home. I especially love the boots and the second floral skirt with the large blooms. Those two items would look great together ...
